Trip to Hyderabad
Tour Overview
In September 2024, students went on an interesting Turing Trip to Hyderabad, which combined educational possibilities with rich cultural experiences. The trip included a diverse range of exploration, from historical sites to exhilarating amusement parks, making it both a learning experience and a memorable adventure.
The tour began on Saturday, September 7th, with a stop at the majestic Statue of Equality. After leaving the hotel in the afternoon, students spent 3-4 hours visiting the monument and watching mesmerising laser performances that underlined the statue’s magnificence.
On Sunday, September 8th, the party visited Hyderabad’s historic Birla Mandir before learning about space at the Birla Planetarium. The day ended with a nice boat cruise in Hussain.
On Thursday, September 12th, students resumed their historical research by visiting the iconic Charminar and the stately Chowmahalla Palace, where they learnt about Hyderabad’s rich cultural heritage and architectural splendour.
On Saturday, September 13th, students went to Shilparamam, a traditional arts and crafts hamlet, to buy local products and souvenirs while immersing themselves in the region’s lively culture.
On Sunday, September 15th, students visited Ramoji Film City, one of the world’s largest film studio complexes. This was a highlight of the trip. They learnt about the film industry and experienced a variety of themed attractions.
On Tuesday, September 17th, students spent a fun-filled day at Wonderla amusement park, where they enjoyed exhilarating rides.
All the remaining working days, they went to School of Coding’s Hyderabad office and learnt Digital Marketing, Web Development, Basics of UX/UI designing, Project management and HR Operations.
The tour culminated with a farewell supper on Friday, September 20th, to commemorate the beautiful memories and experiences obtained over the journey.
Lessons Learnt: Throughout the trip, students expanded their knowledge of local history, culture, and arts while also visiting current sites and making lifelong memories. This Hyderabad trip was noteworthy since it combined academics and fun.
